The hospitality we encountered is already a special thing nowadays, but the food far surpassed it. The 'ziegenkopf' (slow-cooked meat from goat's head, such as tongue, brains, cheek and neck) is perhaps not something you would quickly choose, but for the adventurous eater it is highly recommended. If you want something less challenging, there is a multitude of delicious grill and vegetarian dishes as well. Most -if not all- accompanied by a standard delicious salad and garlic bread as starter. Too bad I came across this restaurant so late as I would have loved to taste more from the menu. Много благодаря за гостоприемството и вкусния десерт. Незабравим! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bulgarisches Restaurant in Blankenburg, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The authentic Bulgarian cuisine, the incredible service and delightful house shots called Green Cloud left a lasting impression. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were warmly greeted by the staff. The service was truly remarkable, with the waitstaff displaying genuine warmth, professionalism, and an eagerness to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. The menu at Bulgarische Restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Bulgarian dishes, we chose the grill platter and the Plescavica. Everything was cooked to perfection, perfectly spiced and presented beautifully. We were surprised with a starter salad with a house shot on the side. The salad was simple but perfectly balanced and refreshing and the shot was the highlight of the night. Known as the Green Cloud, it was minty, tasty and the perfect accompaniment to our meal. When we learned it was a house created recipe that we may never get to experience again we simply couldn’t leave without having another one and were pleasantly surprised when the restaurant generously offered us complimentary shots. In addition to the exceptional service, delectable food, and delightful shots, the ambiance of Bulgarische Restaurant was cozy and inviting. The warm and rustic decor, adorned with Bulgarian accents, created a charming atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience. The restaurant's attention to detail in both the presentation of the dishes and the overall aesthetic made it clear that they take pride in providing a memorable dining experience for their guests. In conclusion, Bulgarische Restaurant in Blankenburg exceeded all expectations.
